Yamaha has a great musical instruments store in Moscow. What can be more important than sound, when we are talking about musical instruments? Nothing of course. That’s why Yamaha asked Decoustic to assess and correct acoustic characteristics of the store. The store has number of rooms with different acoustic requirements: showroom, piano workshop, wind instrument workshop, concert room, rehearsal room, open space. Our engineers measured geometrical and acoustic parameters to rich perfect results in each space. But the store isn’t only about sound it’s also about great visual performance. So we suggested our client to choose from number of design solutions.

For the open space they chose Ecophon sound absorbing panels, which reduce reverberation time and eliminate echo effect. Walls in conference room were covered with Gyptone panels. For showroom, workshops and rehearsal room we used Heradesign wood fiber panels.

In the result we achieved great acoustic characteristics for perfect musical experience.
